+ HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is available on our website online. Click on the REGISTER TO BID link on the left of the web pages. Fill in the form and submit all requested information, including your credit card information( to verify actual bidders) and you will be emailed a bidder number. Your bidder number that is assigned at time of registration will be your permanent bidder number.If there is a problem with your card at time of verification, verify that your billing information is accurate, as well as the CIV Code on the back is accurate. If all the information is correct, please contact our office at 248-432-2681. + CAN I PREVIEW THE ITEMS BEFORE I BID? We definitely encourage you to view the items before you bid. All items are sold AS-IS, and there are no guarantees. Each auction specifies where the items can be viewed, as well as preview times. There are no exceptions to preview times. If you bid without seeing the item, your bid is still binding. + WHAT IS A BUYERS PREMIUM? A buyers premium is a percentage fee added to every purchase you make. For example, if the total of your purchases adds up to $100 and there is a 15% buyers premium, your actual bill would be $115 plus sales tax depending on where you are buying from and your exempt status. The buyers premium may differ in each auction. Each auction will specify the percentage on the auction overview page. Depending on method of payment, The Auction Genius. may offer discounts on purchases. This will also be specified on the auction overview page. + DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX? The State of Michigan requires us to collect sales tax for all applicable sales.If you qualify for exemption status for the State of Michigan, please complete the accurate form and submit it prior to bidding. If you are entering the State of Michigan you must pay sales tax unless you provide us with a exemption form. Sales tax is collected on all items except those that would be collected by the Secretary of State. + HOW DOES THE AUTO-EXTEND FEATURE WORK? If an item receives a bid in the last five minutes, the ending time for that item will be extended by five minutes.Once the item has passed without any bidding, the item will close. This feature allows all bidders an equal opportunity to be the high bidder if they so choose. + HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM THE HIGH BIDDER? You will receive an email letting you know if you are the high bidder. An invoice email will also be sent to you if you are the high bidder once the lot is closed. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check your email to see if you are the high bidder on the lot.You may not always receive an email, so be sure you always refresh your page, and look at the High Bidder column and look for your bidder number. You can also check check the status of your bids by using the Review Bids feature that is located at the bottom of any auction page. Once the auction is completed you will receive an invoice via email. If you did not receive the email, be sure it is not in your spam. Make sure you add us to your safe list. If you still did not receive an invoice, contact AssetsNowAuctions.com at 248-432-2681. + CAN I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER BIDDING? By bidding on an item you are binding in a contract on that auction that is enforceable in a court of law. AssetsNowAuctions.com will pursue all legal remedies required to enforce the contract.Once a bid has been made, no bids can be retracted. DO NOT BID if you are unsure of an item. + DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING? AssetsNowAuctions.com does not offer shipping. Each buyer is responsible for their own pickup or shipping. Sellers may offer shipping. Each auction will specify if shipping is available from the seller, otherwise the buyer is responsible to setup their own shipping arrangements. We may assist in loading the item out of our warehouse. Please call in advance and see if that option is available.All removal is at the expense and the liability of the buyer. The auctioneer does not supply personnel or equipment for removal. At many sales there may be riggers/ machinery movers available to hire. You may also release your items to a shipping company of your choice provided you notify us first. If you require us to pack or crate your item for shipping there may be other charges. + HOW DO I PAY? Company checks are accepted only if accompanied by a bank letter guaranteeing payment.Wire transfer information available upon request. If you are mailing your payment mail to P.O. Box 252492, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Each auction has a deadline for payment. Review the auction terms to understand all deadlines. Any item not paid for by the stated deadline, your credit card on file will be charged automatically.If your credit card is not valid, or does not charge for any reason, you will risk losing your future bidding privileges and you may lose your items you bid on and the items will revert back to the seller. + HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PICK UP MY ITEMS? Each auction has a deadline to pick up your items. Each auction will specify the pickup times and dates. There are no exceptions to deadlines.Bidders who fail to pick up items by the removal deadline will incur storage fees in the amount of $100.00 per day per invoice. Items remaining 30 days after removal deadline,will be considered as abandoned, and ownership will revert back to the seller, who may resell or dispose of the items. Any funds paid will be forfeited,for failure to abide to auction terms and conditions. |
